The speakers and delegates of the Royal Institute of Acupuncture Seminar all smiles to close the first session.

Royal Institute of Acupuncture Seminar Series opens with its first topic “Introduction to Oriental Medicine” held at the RI Centre Manila, Philippines, on July 25, 2015. The said seminar was in cooperation with Royal Institute of Acupuncture and Royal Institute of Higher Education, Singapore.

Honorary Officers of the Royal Institute of Acupuncture were the speakers of the seminar. The first lecture was delivered by Dr. Benjamin Jan P. Villamayor, MD, FRIAcu, FRID with his topic “Introduction to Oriental Medicine”. He was followed by Dr. Ronnie A. Royo, FRIAcu, FRIAMD, FRINM who discussed “Electroacupuncture”. The morning session was closed by a lecture on Art Therapy conducted by Dr. Corona L. Luna, FRIAcu, FRIPsych.

The afternoon session was opened by Dr. Milagros A. Binalla, FRIAcu, FRIAMD, FRINM with her lecture on Diet, Lifestyle and Nutritional Counseling. She was followed by Dr. Lylia L. Discartin, FRIAcu(L), FRIAMD(L), FRIEdr(L) with her topic on Cupping Therapy. Next to her was Dr. Mary Ann C. Pacurib, FRIAcu with her lecture on Various Forms of Manipulative Therapy. The last speaker for this session was Dr. Michael D. Fortun, FRIAcu with his talk on Oriental Nutrition.

The Royal Institute of Acupuncture Seminar Series (#RIAcuSeries) will be held every fourth Saturday of the month.
