Royal Institution Singapore held its 3rd International Congress and Conferment Ceremony on 1st May, 2014 at the Theatre of Sutera Harbour Marina, Golf and Country Club’s in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah with the theme “Global Networking for Business and Investment Opportunities”.

The event was attended by several Filipino authors with doctorate degrees who presented their Research Papers on Business, Education, Management, Organization, and Social Sciences. Delegates included Rev. Fr. Dr. Herminio V. Dagohoy, Rector Magnificus, University of Sto. Tomas (UST) (the oldest university in Asia), Dr. Danilo T. Reyes of Polytechnic University of Philippines (PUP), Dr. Valentino G. Baac of Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC), Dr. Julio O. Castillo, Jr. of San Beda College; Dr. Lope E. Dapun of University of Southern Mindanao; Dr. Rommel Mar C. De Guzman of North Fairview High School; Dr. Angeles A. De Guzman of Technological Institute of the Philippines (TIP); Dr. Patricia M. Empleo of University of Sto Tomas (UST); Dr. Teodora M. Salubayba of St. Scholastica’s College; Dr. Cheryl D. Taclawan of St Louis University; Dr. Danilo A. Valenzuela of Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP). Dr. Christine V. Yambao of Western Mindanao State University (WMSU); and Dr. Antonio O. Yu of University of Perpetual Help Systems (UPHS). All Presenters were conferred Research Fellows, in a ceremony presided by Honorable Dr. Emmanuel Y. Angeles, former Chairman of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), who himself was conferred Honorary Fellow of the Royal Institute of Educators.

More than 40 delegates from the Philippines explored business, investment, tourism and education opportunities in Sabah.
