The Royal Institute of Strategic Business (RISB), Singapore successfully launched its first Special Study Series with the theme “Strategic Leadership in Academic Affairs” on February 27, 2016 at the San Beda College, Manila, Philippines.

The first Special Study Series was addressed by three prominent speakers in the academe namely FDr. Samuel M. Salvador, Chancellor of the Royal Institution, Singapore; Engr. Jemuel C. Castillo, Vice President for Quality Management and Planning of Technological Institute of the Philippines; and Dr. Felina C. Young, Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs of the Philippine Women’s University.

The research paper presentations on Strategic Leadership in Academic Affairs were moderated by Dr. Imelda C. Nery, Honorary Secretary of the Royal Institute of Strategic Business, Singapore.

One hundred professionals were conferred the titles Fellow (Life), Fellows, Senior Members and Members of the Royal Institution, Singapore. The event’s highlight is the Induction of Honorary Officers of six Royal Institutes namely Royal Institute of Auditors, Singapore; Royal Institute of Educators, Singapore; Royal Institute of Financial Planners, Singapore; Royal Institute of Hospitality Management, Singapore; Royal Institute of Natural Medicine, Singapore; and Royal Institute of Psychologists, Singapore.

The RISB Special Study Series is the flagship program of the RISB Honorary Officers, headed by its Honorary President, Dr. Dennis A. Sandoval.

Due to this success, the RISB will hold its second Special Study Series with the theme “Strategic Leadership in Public Administration and Good Governance” in Manila Philippines (Specific Venue and Date to be announced.)
